You Have No Power Over Me (Lady Floating in Water)
I didn't believe at first...in the power of words. But then it started working. I could feel the weight lifting; the power dynamic shifting. We can’t control everything that happens to us in this life. But, I’ve learned that you will not be given an experience that your soul cannot handle. The true battle exists within the mind.  The memory, the aftermath of it all.

The longing for the answers to your questions of why, how, what for and so on aren’t resting on the tip of anyone’s tongue. It’s something for you to discover, to learn, and to grow from…But I am certain that the answers will come…eventually. So please, be patient. Be kind to yourself, and towards others. Be mindful with your words and thoughts because they do have power.

The phrase, “You have no power over me” from the 1980's film "Labyrinth" is something that I say OUTLOUD, on the regular. I actually wrote it on my wall, my notebooks, inside my diaries, as a constant reminder to myself. So that I would never forget.
