Isolation is no joke
Whether it's a blessing, or curse is based on perception and of course what you do with those moments in life when there's no one around, no hope in sight and a future unknown.

Who the fuck is Heather Walker?
I was crippled by trauma, fear, rejection, stuck in survival mode. I was either floating through life, or barely keeping my head above water, exhausted, overwhelmed and drowning…I realize now that I never really learned how to swim.

The Alchemist
Paulo Coehlo is one of my favorite authors. The first book that I read was "The Alchemist". It was given to me as a Christmas gift when I was living in Cape Town, South Africa. I read it in four hours! This was an accomplishment for me, as I have a tendency to forget what I'm reading as I'm reading (thanks ADHD) The second time that I read the book was during a trip to Israel. My friends decided to take me to Egypt. We stayed at a place located directly on the Red Sea. It was

The Evolution of Freedom
I have been wanting to share this for years. These are the words that I wrote over 20 years ago. I was going to do a recording. Well, actually, I did. But, it needs a bit more work before sharing. This is about the words anyway. When you read it, the only thing that even really hints at a "time" difference is, "come on, this is the computer age." This is a developing project, and the video above is only Part One. So stay tuned... Connect through The Creative "Behind the Seam

You Have No Power Over Me (The Power of Thought)
I didn't believe at first...in the power of words. But then it started working. I could feel the weight lifting; the power dynamic shifting. Identity in Crisis: The Evolution of Diaries
They say that everything happens for a reason. Not everything “had to” happen...but it did and I can’t change the past. If I say nothing, do nothing, then everything I went through was for nothing. And that is simply not how this story ends.

Four Year Anniversary
After four years of isolation, one can truly get to know themselves in a very deep way. Ruminating thoughts turn into full on conversations that are often spoken out loud. My mom had encouraged me to start recording again, something I’d done over the years with my journals, music, travels, etc. I didn’t want to film myself, cause at the time I wasn’t ready to look at myself. I started recording all the time and I am sooooo happy that I did.
