The Alchemist

Paulo Coehlo is one of my favorite authors. The first book that I read was "The Alchemist". It was given to me as a Christmas gift when I was living in Cape Town, South Africa. I read it in four hours! This was an accomplishment for me, as I have a tendency to forget what I'm reading as I'm reading (thanks ADHD)

The second time that I read the book was during a trip to Israel. My friends decided to take me to Egypt. We stayed at a place located directly on the Red Sea. It was not some fancy hotel either. But I'll tell you more about that story another time.
