I was crippled by trauma, fear, rejection, stuck in survival mode. I was either floating through life, or barely keeping my head above water, exhausted, overwhelmed and drowning…I realize now that I never really learned how to swim.

Some think how lucky they were to be born pretty, or even “special”, only to discover that the Industry has a sick sense for these things…I mean, objects.

They say that everything happens for a reason. Not everything “had to” happen...but it did and I can’t change the past. If I say nothing, do nothing, then everything I went through was for nothing. And that is simply not how this story ends.

When trauma, mental health struggles, and chronic illness intersect with social isolation, it can be a recipe for disaster. But, with the right mindset, it can create the perfect recipe for SUCCESS!

After four years of isolation, one can truly get to know themselves in a very deep way. Ruminating thoughts turn into full on conversations that are often spoken out loud. My mom had encouraged me to start recording again, something I’d done over the years with my journals, music, travels, etc. I didn’t want to film myself, cause at the time I wasn’t ready to look at myself. I started recording all the time and I am sooooo happy that I did.
