Trauma,
Mental Health & Chronic Illness
Trauma, Mental Health struggles, and Chronic Illness are deeply interconnected and affect millions of people world wide. This profound connection is being talked about more than ever.
Mindset matters.
When trauma, mental health struggles, and chronic illness intersect with social isolation, it can be a recipe for disaster.
But, with the right mindset, one can create the perfect recipe for success!
No stranger to adversity
July 5, 2022, a ladder fell and hit me in the head while I was at work. Unfortunately I suffered brain damage and was diagnosed with Post Concussion Syndrome. The symptoms, combined with the circumstances have forced me into isolation.
As a life long traveler, when things got tough, boring, or God forbid... "Too easy", I wasn't one that would have to wait for “the ball to drop” before I'd pack up and run away. Due to the accident, that wasn't an option for me anymore. The only place that I could go…was inside: of myself, my mind.
"I’ve spent my entire life searching for answers, reasons, finding ways to understand, how to cope, maintain and survive. What was the point to all of this suffering?"
Despite the situation, I realized that my life wasn't over. I needed to sit still. It was time to unpack, and finally begin to process all this "stuff" that I had collected over time. I knew I had to let go of things in order to move forward. But first, I'd have to figure out what was even worth holding onto. Does it serve my purpose? Does it come from a place of love? Does it restrict your freedom, your ability to grow, or to simply be yourself? What was holding me back the most? Not the trauma, the mental health issues, or the chronic illnesses...It was fear. Like, I can heal from the trauma, get therapy for the chronic illnesses and pain...but if I continue to hold onto “FEAR”...I will be trapped inside this “hell” forever. Fuck that!
I encourage you to take the time to pause, unpack, and reflect on the “stuff” that you’re holding onto. Get to know your true self and remember who YOU are. Release your mind from societal limitations. But most importantly...
Mindset matters.

No stranger to adversity.
or YOU will be trapped inside forever.
Let go of the FEAR if you wanna be free.
Don't let fear hold you back ever again.

The concept of a diary has evolved over time, starting as ancient administrative and travel logs before flourishing into more deeply personal, reflective journals.

The Artist's way
inspiration | Creative flow
transformative | reconnect
I started keeping a journal at six years old. In high school, I took a class that was based on the book, "The Artist's Way".
The author, Julia Cameron, guides readers in uncovering problems and pressure points that may be restricting their creative flow and offers techniques to open up opportunities for growth and self-discovery.
Coping with trauma, mental health & chronic illness from the inside Out
"Remember during Covid, how everyone just kind of started to “let themselves go” all while kind of losing their minds in isolation? Yeah? It sucked."

It felt amazing when they told us that we could go back to "normal". Right? The nightmare was finally over and we were free at last.
I remember it clearly, like it was just yesterday. After four years of isolation, almost everything feels like yesterday. Like right now. Today's and tomorrow's... they're all the same when you don't have people to meet or places to go, except for doctor’s appointments, or a meeting at the school, if and only if, you can even make it out of the house.
Today, or tomorrow, possibly... no. for sure. Absolutely. There’s been a glitch, a change, a definite shift in the system, significant enough that even I can feel it, from the inside, looking out.
It’s a whisper, it’s a feeling,a passing thought, a conversation, that deep fucking knowing that there is more than this life.
